This is the first corrido ever I am learning and I am really struggling with the corrido strumming, I just cant replicate it, if you do a tutorial again please show how to strum, I would really appreciate it. Teaching strumming is definitely something I have a hard time doing. Growing up as a drummer it came very natural to me. I will do some thinking on how to start teaching it in the future

Amazing video Seth. I’m not trying to be that guy that tries to correct you but I really think the soung sounds better if you play a c#m9 instead of the c#m7. So you would just play the beginner chord that you had listed but add your pinky finger on 2nd string 4th fret.

You can, but it sounds too sad to me when played that way. Just personal preference. You can definitely play it the way you are describing and it will work

It took 2 weeks for me to understand the guitar. It took 2 months for me to be confident I can play just about anything. It 2 years for me to now pick up songs in 1 min or less, and make the guitar sing rather than jus playing notes

You can put it in standard tuning but it will probably have a higher action which can make it trickier to play. Definitely doable but I recommend just playing in D

Im convinced it is the best bang for your buck twelve string guitar. Best value for how inexpensive it is. Now Should you go into a studio with a world famous DJ and record guitar tracks with it?? Probably not but I did and nobody complained... So for beginners who just want to get started I think this is the best guitar for doing so. And if you want to take things to the next level and really commit to tome serious SERIOUS guitar work then you can always sell it and upgrade when youve built up the technique and skillset to really make a high end guitar sound incredible.
