I have the LE422, best playing and feeling guitar. I thought on many occasions to get rid of it but it has outlasted everything I ever bought. Needs a refret and have a dilemma, pay for refret Stainless Steel or buy a new guitar. I got mine as they wen't out of busines, $179, refret is $370.

It's not the guitar that sounds good, It's the man playing it. He made the low end line sound like the high end. Fact of the matter is that Greg Howe can play on a stump with strings attached to it and sound awesome. Because he has practiced at his trade his whole life. All he does is play guitar and it shows

I owned and LE 300 back in 2014 but had to sell it. Very underrated guitars. I recently came across an LE 400QBL that was a train wreck, but got it really cheap! Took it completely apart and resurrected it. Frets were badly tarnished, the body was filthy and all of the screws needed to be cleaned and repainted. I also took the Floyd Rose apart and painted what wouldn't clean up. Then I buffed and polished the body to it's former beauty although there is some finish checking around the neck pocket. Now she's a keeper!

I bought a LE200Q a couple of weeks ago to replace a faulty Squier. While I do love it there are a few things that make me quite a bit bummed: The quilted maple is only in the middle..the rest of the top is normal woodgrain maple. The tone knob crackles when there is any sound coming from the guitar. The pickup selector tends to pop when there is any sound coming from the guitar. There's some glue over-run from the frets on the fretboard. Other than those issues it's an awesome guitar.

I bet some people assume because these are low priced, they suck. Not true. It's the same with most instruments. When you buy the big name brands, you have to pay more because of the novelty of it. I'm also a drummer, and when you buy Zildjian or Sabian cymbals, you overpay by a ton. When you look into smaller, lesser known brands, you can get sound that is just as good for much cheaper.

I hate how non of their guitars are customizable, for example the Ibanez RG series, the use of a pick gaurd lets you make a 1 pick up guitar or 1 humbucker 2 single or even 3 Hum bucker if you wanted, in ALL different colors what ever you want. But these are just so bland SO bland
