This song was shot in Mumbai and it is a cosmopolitan city with people all across from India staying and working here.. And you will find most of the shop names in English..

This video was shot in Mumbai, and English is a very common language in India. Our schooling system are dominantly in English. I mean we were colonized by the Englishmen for 200 years so the language stayed back even after our independence. English is one of the official languages. India stands second when it comes to country with most number of English speakers in global rankings. So yaa it's common the find English being used on the signage in India.

You see all women in this song is because of women empowerment drive back in early 2000s... I was lucky enough to see the movie shoot on the street of Mumbai!

It is very common to find English signs and signboards in all cities of India. It is also followed by the local language of that state.

It was filmed in Mumbai (except one song, not this one, which was filmed in Goa). Because of the way the first film had a positive influence on the general public by promoting Gandilike values, Mumbai allowed this sequel to be filmed tax free. Not to be outdone, Delhi allowed tickets for this movie to be sold tax free for the same reason. LRMB went on to have an even greater effect. Here in the US the Citizenship and Immigration Services had changed a rule that created a backlog of Indians getting their Citizenship finalized. For 3 days Indian members of the Immigration Voice forum sent hundreds of bouquets to the USCIS offices. USCIS relented and changed the rule back to its previous form. Gandhi's autobiography sales jumped, especially in Indian prisons, as Indians became interested in Gandhi again. Lots of protestors took up Gandhian tactics in response. Lots of flowers being sent all over the country..

This is an amazing movie with a brilliant concept. Its a must watch.

This channel has by far the most potential to become huge because of jodi & nick, but it makes me cringe how they don't put in enough efforts to make it happen, I guess it's bcoz they're busy people & the channel isn't the top priority. The place is an area of Mumbai & those blondes are supposed to be tourists in the song, that's why they're in that bus, that's all. Hindi is the language, hindu is someone who follows Hinduism. TOO MANY languages exist in India, it's more like a continent than a country. And English is spoken widely, transitioning mid-sentence from local language to english while speaking is extremely common. I don't know who "suggests" them most of the videos they do _(not talking about this video, it was a good suggestion)_ & why they avoid doing more popular stuff which would bring audience. Jodi can do "geography now india" or "what's hinduism" as nick has watched them already, that would be cool.
