Now, this is the precise way I want Indian Music to go international! With all its ever rich library of folk sounds, classical music and then blending with the best of other world sounds. Maati Baani, I am a radical fan of you guys now and believe me, while listening to this masterpiece, I almost felt like I had an enlightenment! This piece was like a celebration of life with so many happy faces. What on earth was that instrument that sitting lady was playing almost in air? It sounded so damn good, almost like a bansuri on steroids!

Hey Maani Baati.. Thank you so much for immortalising my trip(me mommy daddy) to New York City.. We loved the Subway and the city. We loved the artists that were performing. We were enjoying one such when you shot us. People rang me after seeing this video and they told me that i was there. And by the way, you are awesome singer. I wish we were close friends :) Thank you so much from me, my mom and my dad. raja singh, India.

OMGosh, this reminds me so much of the many nights I spent in the house of my neighbour back in Lake Bonavista, Calgary, Alberta. They would put on this incredible music and we would dance, sing and just hang! There were no barriers, no race, colour, just people hanging and enjoying music. Thank you so much. The lady singing reminds me of one of my neighbours. Blessings all!

I can't tell how happy I am right now literally, I first heard this song when I was in 8th standard, it randomly popped on my yt recommendations during my summer holidays I heard and moved on, but after some time tune of this instrument at 3:08 kept banging in my head, I searched for this with so many different key words but couldn't find, lost hope but see it literally popped again today at 4:28 am and i am just feeling out of this world and listening this on loop, now I am in 1st year of my college and this song is just bringing all those memories of my 8th class, adding to my playlist, it cherish my memories, idk what I am writing, these are all my feelings with some tears in my eyes..... ✨
