LAGAN KA QEEMA
Ingredients
Beef mince 750 gm
Brown onion grounded ½ cup
Yogurt 1 cup
Mint grounded 2 tbsp
Green chilies 6
Kebab chini grounded ½ tsp
Allspice 1 tsp
Grounded papaya paste 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Coal to give smoke
Cashew nuts 10 grounded
Grounded almonds 2 tbsp
Grounded coconut 1 tbsp
Grounded poppy seeds 1 tbsp
Salt 1 ½ tsp
Chili powder 1 ½ tsp
Black pepper 1 tsp
Cream 4 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Clarified butter ½ cup
Onion rings for garnish
Tomato rings for garnish
METHOD
Marinate mince with all the given ingredients except coal, leave it for 4 hours. Heat ghee, add in marinated mince, cover and cook for 30 mins, give dum of coal, leave it on dum for another 5 mins, serve garnished with onion rings, tomato rings, lemon wedges and sliced green chilies.
