In Dadra taal, there are 6 matras and 2 vibhag of 3 each. Each line starts with a sam. Every time there is sam one should have new line starting. how to know the length of sung line in terms of matras of taal i.e which matra to start line and at which to end

No, Dadra is 6 beats with vibhaag of 3 each. you are confusing with bhajani/keherva which is 8 beats with vibhaag of 4.

The position of the taal is marked on the lyrics on the video: "X" is sam which is beat 1, and I've also some times given some additional beats such as beat 4 or 5. I've also displayed the taal from my tabla app at the bottom, so you can see that too (the black box at the bottom is showing the tabla beats)

To make things easy for new students you should have sung the notation of the song as well.MAny teachers find it hard to sing notations of songs so they choose to sing the song instead.

Bidisha ji has done a superb job. We need to be grateful for what she is doing selflessly and try to see the glass half full rather than glass half empty. One can always make a request but passing negative judgment is unacceptable here.

Singing notations is like a mechanical structured block building. There are many more things happening nearby notations, where we called them as murki, khatka , gamaka and kan, etc. So singing and learning along the Guru is the best thing to follow. Singing Notations and coming to the songs is truly a Junk method. Gayaki is something more than that.
