Units went into a defensive posture to extinguish the flames. It took 78 firefighters just over an hour to extinguish the fire. One patient from the scene was treated and transported to a local hospital after suffering a medical emergency (not directly related to the incident). No firefighters were injured. @@masterchifpl12 I'm firefighter on the east coast tristate area actually so I'm all for the new york style helmet but I agree it's no lafd without the original helmets they use to have.
It would suck to have my car in that auto body shop.
