Grandpa is telling stories about the past: it was a sunny Sunday afternoon, back in the high spring of 2002, we had our camp in the East of Germany, and there I witnessed a performance of this very group of young adults, two boys and girls each... Memories in black and white, well almost, but one of the best concerts I ever saw. And I saw many.

In the year of 2008 I have a cellphone NOKIA and came out with some songs of the band LADYTRON,and have this one...Love it.

this song is a masterpiece of electro, it never gets old

'Saltburn' brought me here to reminisce how awesome this song still is!!

See, I thought they were Eastern Europeans from the early '90s; they are actually British from the late '90s and 2ks, but to be fair to me, I saw true mathematics first, and it looked and sounded like the music I listen to regularly, which is Laibach. This is good pop-music, and I will listen to more, no offense to fans, but I was hoping it would be a bit more anti-pop. Pop music is a commodity forced on the masses by bad musical dissemination institutions, and it is generally about people and their emotions. This is fine but can be poisonous, emotionally. Anti-pop music, in my usage above, means music that is made by people, not marketing firms, and is about ideas. Maybe I will find that this Ladytron is actually a bit anti-pop. It is perfectly ok to be both simultaneously.

@@das81 the band are English. She was a wealthy Bulgarian student hanging out with "cool" musicians. It's a trait they all have.

This song always sends chills down my spine. Such an awkward combination of menace, strength, and compassion. Powerful ladies. Me likey.

2022 still listening to and loving this , amazing band , saw them live a few years ago and this was the last song …. I couldn’t tear myself away and missed the last train home ….. so a 3hr coach journey home instead , but worth it .

No matter how many years have gone by this song still manages to stick in my head randomly. Love it still!!

Damn, this reminded me of ~2011 when I used to make music in FL Studio. I was so full of ideas, did so many experiments, was inspired by Sisters of Mercy and Theatre of Tragedy. Ah, those were the times. Looking back, most of my "music" from back then is objectively amateurish and just bad, but it still holds a special place in my heart.

I am so obsessed with this song since Dragula's Finale of season was aired. I can't stop listening.

Saw you on Different Sounds festival in Lublin Poland yesterday. The video of the sun burning in the background with particles flying everywhere matched the dynamics of the song and will stay in my mind as one of the brightest highlight of the festival. You literally radiated energy from the stage. Cheers for the good memory.
