To me, being able to connect with such a tiny creature to the point of total trust is one of the most beautiful things in the world.
I found a baby squirrel in my driveway that fell out of its nest during a storm. It was so tiny with no hair and its eyes still closed. I didn’t give it any chance for survival but she was a fighter. It grew to become the most loving and personable little critter ever. So glad I got to experience that.
Wow, we'e got to learn a little more about the emotional dimension of the squirrel. So glad this little guy is safe.

beautiful. on the terrace of my house 22 squirrels are coming but not even one came closer. I offer sunflower seeds, rice, millets, etc and they eat them with joy and play very well. they keep a distance. what to do to get them at my hand. you are lucky. I am very proud of you. 🐿🐿🐿🐿🐿🐿🐿🐿🐿
You are so blessed to have a wonderful friendship with that little buddy. You are a good individual or in my opinion God would have not brought you all into one anothers life. His little foot the way it wraps around your finger, shows he truly trusts you. He is and you are the best kind of friend many pray for. Hold onto to those memories, one day they may bring you out of a worrisome time, and let you relive them over and over. Your heart will always hold that special spot that is reserved for just the two of you.

Thank you, Elena, for saving that tiny injured furball and earning his trust! I feed squirrels in my yard, and they know me and will come fairly close to me, but i can’t imagine them trusting me enough to let me touch them!
God gave us these beautiful animals for us to take care of and love. He did not give them to us to slaughter and enslave. Please, everyone wake up to the suffering of animals. I have to wonder what happens if they need a veterinarian? I know squirrels are tame with the person who found and raised them, but are they tame with all humans? Just me being nosey, I guess...lol.

if you do this the squirrel can never be released to the wild, it is not a good way to rehab them if you want to keep them a pet..it has to be legal (they have to be unreleasable due to injury or illness) because a squirrel can live a very long time and is a big responsibility

Likely not...but squirrels do't elimiate much, and it's very tiny
He's cute, and I'm glad you were able to save him. I have seen other people take squirrels in as pets with mixed results. The fact you got him as a baby probably helps, but be careful. He is a male, and may one day insist on going outside to follow his natural instincts.
