I’m saying that everybody knows Gaga is a great performer and that she can sing. She has always been high energy and theatrical in her live performances, and while her real fans appreciate that, others like AjayII will say they don’t like the vocals or the choreography and that’s fine I guess... but like girl at least appreciate the hard work ya know?

Actually I'm very happy for that vocal "get doowwwnn" in stupid love performance. After 10 years Gaga still did this. It's her unique style and you can find it on another live performance & tour. 🙌

I love gaga, but the piano portion was a little scary. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't in tune like we're used to. She pulled it back in with the end of stupid love though imo. I enjoyed the performance. Not everyone is at 100% everyday, all the time.

The reason they wore masks is because: gaga was told by the VMA that the singers didn’t need to wear masks but dancers did, but gaga chose to wear the mask because she said “that just because I am of a higher power means i don’t need to wear the mask”

“Next time perform without a mask” singers also need a mask just like the camera man, dancers, and the guitarist. The disrespect those lousy singer had when they didn’t wear a mask. Praise her not put her down.

Gagariana used mask to say two things : 1. Obviously to get people aware to use masks, reminding that Corona isn’t over yet. And they’re performing, singing, dancing an all but still wear a mask, why can’t you? 2. Respect to the dancers. According to the sop all dancers are obligated to wear a mask cause they’re not singing, thus the singer is not obligated. But Gagariana want to respect each other, and proof hell they can still deliver vocals even with mask.

The acapella version of Stupid Love really sounds like those days when Gaga sang Paparazzi or Poker Face piano version in the beginning. Only real little monsters will remember that.

I agree, the performance wasn't the best, but you have to admit, during a global pandemic, this is great. With the coreo, they probably didn't have much time or ability to practice together bc of miss rona. Also, ariana and gaga probably didn't get to practice together at all prior to the performance. Other comments are saying that gaga wanted to wear a mask to avoid giving the wrong message, and I personally think that was a great idea, though it probably did alter the quality of the vocals. She's literally proving all the people who say "they can't breathe" in masks by literally singing live in one. Again, it's not the best performance out there, but under the circumstances, its pretty damn good.
