She's still doing it well, look at Joanne
She revolutionized so many notions we're talking about today as common topics, women's rights, LGBT rights... she's been ahead of our time, as much as Alexander McQueen was in fashion. I can only see it 10 years from then now.

Now she left it behind.. Fools can't come up with anymore ideas, we are stuck in 2010. At least then it was fresh and exciting, but the manufactured pop trashes aren't creative enough to move past it. Gaga since then has done so damn much.

Not really, she brought back the electro pop genre to mainstream radio in America and became a hit
You could hear the sadness and sorrow in her voice, I miss you Lee, you are the soul reason I got into fashion
I love this version of Dance In The Dark

im living for that face lmao i love her !!
What I admire most about this amazingly talented artist is her unique, one of a kind style. Her facial expressions, dynamic voice, body movements all flowing perfectly with the music & the song. Most of Ga Ga,s performances are mezmerizing works of art, & she is the painter, creating masterpieces in the world of music. Yes, she is, Americas new Picasso !!
Gaga and McQueen were soulmates, so sad he died. they both used to understand each other's artistic visuon

2:25 SO ICONIC
She is an icon...... Ahead of our time And one day our kids will see this and say ...... "One of the finest artist ever lived"
one of her best! What an iconic performance. Looking back on it really makes me miss the fame monster era. She has not surpassed that greatness. She is still doing amazing things, but this right here.. this was artistic, bold, raw. This performance defines her artistry in a way. Love looking back on it :)
I once took a picture of her with this custome to the photocopying shop and client said: -what a beautiful doll!

I NEED A FULL ACOUSTIC VERSION OF TELEPHONE
Is,nt it amazing how the 21,st century, electro metal pop & the super talented Lady Gaga all emerged at nearly the same time ? Having watched this video dozens of times , it is still mesmerizing & powerful...................there is No one else like her.

@poisonedskeletonguns

don't you dare put madonna next to katy perry. gaga and madonna are on the same level, way above katy. gaga will become and icon just like madonna, katy will be forgotten for not having the daring and revolutionary artistic soul legendary musicians have. all she does is following pop trends so she can get herself and her label millions of dollars.

+morning-dessert excuse me, but Katy is the first and still the only female in History to have 5 number 1 singles off the same album, so i'm pretty sure Katy Perry will go down in History, i don't think its fair to compare the three its like comparing Beyonce to Taylor Swift, they're all unique and famous for their own individual hate, i love Gaga and i love Katy but for different reasons, I wish that people would stop trying to compare them and make one sound bad

it's simple.. There was Jordan 23 and the Kobe 24 came along n took it another level. but yes Kobe studied Jordan just like Gaga studied Madonna. BOTH FUCKING LEGENDS.....cause at the end of the day when CRAZY FOR YOU plays on the radio...EVERYONE TURNS IT UP N MELT AWAY!!!😎
So avant garde
This oerfomance was so beutifull and lady gaga was so beautiful
Agree, I think I enjoy her live acoustic performances the most... I enjoy all her crazy wardrobes but, it's the music and, way powerful vocals that draw me to her shows and, keep my attention...
How can anyone hate this wonderful, amazing and beautiful talented girl? I'm not a big Gaga fan but you don't have to know much about music to understand her brilliance.
She was amazing and still is. She hasn't changed. The ones who think different of her now have changed.
That's my fav live performence of her.
she is perfect, her voice is so powerful and her performances are so meaningful
One of her best performances!!!
Lmao the girls screaming gaga in the background 😹😹😹I love her fans
WoW! ! You said it . This was a lucky audience to see this in person . She's right up there in a league with Sriesand , Midler and Minelli .
the Reason I love listening to Lady gaga is because she can sing when she is being crazy but when she dose versions like the video above it is an brilliant performance from her.
She reminds us what art can be -- how it can inform, disrupt, and move us. Say whatever you want -- she's amazing!
This performance is so amazing, a tribute that is so intimate in front of such a large audience. Gaga's got class.
Every piece of this performance was PERFECT. I loved it
One of her absolute best!
cara ela é tudo, quando assunto é arte, ela é dancarina , cantora ,atris em fim uma grande artista, eu a amoooooooooo
Best version ever of dance in the dark. Love it!
See? She's really a singer! Beautiful performance, one of my favorites.
I ALWAYS get Goosebumps when she sing "you will never fall apart, Diana you're still in our hearts" like doesnt matter if its live or on the track idk why but fuckk
My favorite perfomance of her.
i lived this era ❤️
This is beautiful for Lee Alexander McQueen
Alexander McQueen is deeply missed. He was a pure genius.
One of her most epic preformances
Am I the only one who finds the line "This is for Alexander McQueen: Stop calling, stop calling...." kinda hilarious in a tragic way of course... 😂

It's not the whole song.!! she did telephone and dance in the dark because those were the songs she was using to promote the album at the moment. what she really dedicated to him in the performance was that extra verse in telephone. It was written only for McQueen.!! That's what I think. I get your black humour thoe :)
RIP Lee Alexander McQueen
i love that gaga, i love gaga, and i will always love her❤️😸
We miss Alexander McQueen so much
Even know this is so futuristic, so ahead of its time. Just amazing. Everything here matches perfectly. What an artist.
WOW!! she's just amazing!
Gaga: "this is for Alexander Mcqueen" Alexander: "Hi Gaga! Calling from heaven. I just want you to know that I love you and am watching your performance right n--" Gaga: "Stop CALlING STOP CALLING!"

She was mourning the death of one of her closest friends and this was her ode to him. Would you like her to be stuck mourning just to turn out nothing but emotionally charged performances that are nothing short of perfection? It is bad to say it, but something incredible came from his death: this performance. I am thoroughly satisfied with all of her performances before and since then, unlike a lot of people who seem to not understand her for whatever reason. Maybe no one wants to because they are just too damn shallow.

That's not what he/she was saying. I think they were talking about the acoustic/jazz performances. I personally love this as well.
@dinkledankle
10 жыл бұрын
Kojo Baidoo This is not jazz. She already does that, infact she is releasing an album soon with Tony Bennett. She does acoustics all of the time, but she isn't going to do just them because it isn't what she does. Finally, what she does on stage in the big show is what she loves to do, so like I said in my first comment, I personally don't think she'll ever go completely/100% solo. I don't think Gaga can properly express herself in that way. And before you tell me "Well how do you know? Do you talk to her every day?" No. I've been following her(in a media sense) ever since her first television debut in 2008. If there was a list of people who were not completely blinded by fandom or hate and could form a proper assessment of Gaga, I feel confident I would be on that list. But I don't know everything, so don't think that either. On another note, I know I turned this into more than what it was, but that's what happens when someone replies to you and makes a counter-point.

I like the acoustic version of Telephone.
Iconic.
the part when she starts on the chorus was the best i've ever heard from anyone in any kinda music
Still one of her most amazing performances.
I want more performances like that in her tours tooo

It's interesting seeing her on stage by herself...usually she's surrounded by a ton of back up dancers. I like all the focus on her when she's solo like this. It's a very powerful performance!
Lovvvvvve this performance. Idk why it gives me comfort, I guess I see apart of me in her.
This is perfection! god
Lady GaGa truely loved Alexander McQueen and this is so thoughtful of her to contribute something to his really does show how much she cares.
the sound in the background and the picture @ 2:08 altogether with her like an angel crooning at her piano in a cloud of white, sends chills down my spine and i can't sleep. gaga.
She doesn't need anything, she alone fills all the stage!!!! *____* Incredible artist!!! :)
Who said GaGa is only dj music, coreography and flashing effects??... Sinceraly she's all you can IMAGINE!
I want an all accoustic album. BEAUTIFUL!
seriously, my day just got a little better after watching this performance. love you gaga
than nostalgia remember when I first saw (2009) and since that time promised to die listening to his music and following my 2 tattoos dedicated to her everything to bleat
every time I listen to this telephone performance Im amazed all over again
Thanks for dedicating it to Alexander McQueen. I'm not into fashion and have never heard of him before. Because of this video, I looked him up on Wikipedia. Lady Gaga brings people together. She has things to do and she knows it. We need her and she knows it. Thanks, Lady Gaga.
omfg i just started liking her. great voice and a wonderful performer. plus she plays piano amazingly
I can't belive that was 10 years ago...
I just...wow. Watching this on TV was the highlight on 2010.
RIP Alexander McQueen.. You will be missed, at Givenchy, at your label and across the world... Its time you designed clothing for angels up there!
30 people didn't listen to this all the way through. 30 people didn't have their heart broken when they saw Gaga's eyes full of emotion and vulnerability at 0:30. This gives Telephone a whole new meaning. Love.
Wow she has an amazing voice
NOW THIS IS ARTPOP!
ES LA MEJOR SIN DUDA.. TE AMO MUCHISIMO GAGA (:♥
She looks beautiful. Her emotions are on the surface of her face
I love that version of Telephone (added to "Best Performances" list) :D
