Really good artists focus on their whole persona, not just their sound. Art is defined as being the realm, of what is beautiful, appealing, or of more than ordinary significance. Meaning, it is supposed to be odd and beautiful. Lady Gaga is an art in the form of her own being. Everything that she does is art. It is mainly because she is so ordinarily beautiful that makes her so eye catching. People will always shut up when she does something, because that is how interesting she is.

@BelleDiamond Lady Gaga isn't superifical at all. She writes all of her own music, and the lyrics are actually far deeper than they appear and have very cool music. And who said a new image is bad?

@tylax1987 You are so right! When people pause to think, they are totally reading off of cue cards. I swear when people pause during a dialouge with me there are cue cards behind me that they read off of.

She is definitely creative, well spoken and business minded. But there is no true content or a positive message in any of her songs, and her musical style is far from being revolutionary. Her fans are buying the products of a marketing guru, and it seems the world doesn't demand anything more than a new punchy image, eccentricity and sexuality. I wonder when we'll stop being this superficial again, and put some meaning back into life.
