Judas is very allegorical and the reason that she has to explain it is because people like you don't look deep enough, I understood it the first time I heard it. As for Born this Way, you can't tell me that she had to spell that song out for you. The lyrics in it are so literal because that is not something to beat around the bush about, she get's straight to the point. Be yourself and love who you are.

@blognewb Yeah but she chose not to lead the easy life and simply live off her family's money but instead went out day and night performing in New York City's clubs and piano bars, determined to make something of herself and that track is definitely an arduous one, to build yourself from the ground up. However she did do it and lived through all the tough times from high school through to the person she is now and the global superstar you see today.

I think it would be different for her to just have one performance that's just about the singing and not about all the flashy weird stuff she wears. People think of Lady Gaga more as the artist that wears crazy clothes, but not as the artist that can sing and produce beautiful music. Don't get me wrong. I'm a monster too.

But she's not really talking about Judas, it's symbolism. "I'm just a holy fool, baby it's so cruel but I'm still in love with Judas baby" means that GaGa is fighting with her religious side, and her side that is interested in darkness. I feel the exact same way, I'm a christian but I'm fascinated by dark things.

The lyrics of the song suggests that She loved a man who betrayed her, like how Judas betrayed Jesus. But now matter how much he betrays or how bad the betrayal is, she still loves him. Some people took the lyrics literally and misunderstood Lady Gaga and that she loves Judas(literally) and that she worships Judas, despite the fact the lyric, "Jesus is my virtue" is in the song. Hence why the song was misunderstood. (Unless you mean how Judas was misunderstood in which idk)

@Letsgethyped self worshipping? She's also a super kind and caring person. DId you know she donated 100 million to japan? thats just one instance. She may dress out there, show ridiculous amounts of skin, have a really werid style, but whatever. Let her do what she wants, its who "she" is.
