My 80 year old Dad still compares every Super Bowl half time show to Lady Gaga’s . He had never heard her music - it’s not his jam . But he loved this performance. When I pull it up on here to show him , he cries . It’s adorable. She’s such a beautiful talent . Also RiRi did amazing tonight at halftime. And she did it pregnant!! I still had to come back and watch this- bc it’s iconic

Her performance and vocals were still amazing and she did all this while pregnant. Btw I'm a fan of her and do listen to her music (not just the singles) but Gaga's on stage appearence will never be beaten

She's lip singing except for the piano song. It's okay, artist do this all the time now to ensure a perfect performance. Notice the difference in her voice and breath between when she's dancing and when she's sitting down.

Not the whole show. But you should appreciate she's been singing the whole time, besides dancing, flying, playing instruments at the same time, she's been alone. Meanwhile, the rest of singers need other artists to perform in their shows so as to have time to breathe, and they don't fly, some of them can't even dance.

And before you come to say that I'm only being mean or spreading hate, I'll say something, please, take this in consideration: I like Rihanna, I admire her, her setlist at the Superbowl was a good reminder of why we miss her so much, and I do know that her performances when she was active was pretty much like that, even without the pregnancy factor, but relying only in the subtle revelation that you are pregnant to make a presentation more like 2000's memorable isn't enough much less at the Superbowl. It was good to see Riri doing a performance again, but it was just ok, not great.

Don’t be putting pregnant artists on a pedestal just because one chose to perform the way she did at the Grammy’s (not Superbowl). And if “her performances were generally like that before pregnancy” then why did you expect anything like a Beyonce performance in the first place?

JenEBeanz She probably is used to it. Most celebrities have a personal trainers and high top chefs to feed them nutritious foods. Plus they have to go sing at concerts for like two hours which also involves cardio. I might be considered fit but damn, I give up after 30 laps around the track.

Hey Jen - I also have EDS, it sucks and has robbed me of virtually every activity I used to love - kayaking, cycling, even hosting dinner parties because it takes two days to recover...even used to do triathlons but no more...now, work and walking the dog is a good day. Peace to you, I hope you find that difficult place of acceptence and new parameters of what is achievable. XO

You may like Lady Gaga's music or not, but you need to admit she is one hell of a performer herself.

The show is a lip sync every year because of logistical issues (too big a show to risk audio and easier to set up etc). They record a live track prior to the game and they use that one. (But also she is an incredible performer and can sing for that length and dance at the same time anyways lol)

Dont listen to the reply. There were some backup vocals but Gaga does not lip sync!!! You can tell if you watch. She's singing almost everything. She's incredibly talented.

@@AshleyEllwood this is a lie. they do sing over the track in certain instances however the NFL themselves have stated their shows are mostly lip sync due to wanting a “perfect” show. It’s not a lie. It’s a lie to say it isn’t. Because it is. All artists thqt do halftime shows are doing a mix of lip sync and singing over a backing track.

When I talk about Britney Spears constant lip syncing and how annoying it is, her fans excuse is that she dances a lot so she has to lip sync. Well, people like Lady Gaga proves that excuse is bullshit. Gaga is dancing, running, doing stunts and still sings live. Not only does she sing live, she sounds tremendous.
