It's very easy to tell when Gaga stops taking an interview seriously. You can tell by how she starts looking around absentmindedly, or by looking at her hands or something like that. She also starts simply toying with the interviewer instead of truly answering the questions. I also LOVED the eyeroll at the end, it's the only moment where Gaga makes her feelings obvious even to people who aren't fans. Those were some really stupid questions.

"Always value the opinion of those you respect" She can convey not only pop music, but also she can convey advice that is valid and genuine straight from the heart, she inspires others from harsh experiences learnt. And that is why she is successful.

You can just tell how smart and in control she is in this interview. She even manipulated the interviewer away from a stupid question, to a more adequate one and answered both of them with a sincere and smart explanation. Make no mistake this is one of the most talented AND smartest artist we have seen in a while. Everything she is doing is for a reason, and she is trying to revolutionize our culture like the artist of the 60's.

Tyrell A She wasn't an idiot for asking a question, the reporter just phrased it in a way that would have debased the interview.

too the people commenting about her buying a big house and stuff: she said she would rather have a good show. that would indicate a choice of one or the other, she went bankrupt about a year (maybe a little longer) after this, but then she came back even stronger. she has the money to put on a big show AND have a lush and expensive house. not to mention that she hasn't exactly been doing shows lately.

She wasn't bankupt, was close to it but she made a biz decision to put everything in her show because she knew she had to get the attention of the CEO of Live Nation to promote her; it worked since they eventually wrote her a check for $40mil that year.

I think it depends on the interviewer. If the interviewer asks what Gaga regards as a stupid, offensive, or pointless question, Gaga kind of gives up on the whole interview and just gives meaningless answers. While on Oprah or Ellen, she gives the best interviews. Mostly, because they don't ask stupid questions. She didn't roll her eyes at the question about her name, she rolled her eyes at the question about how she feels about people calling her a hermaphrodite. Can't say I blame her.

it is interesting to read all these other artists she is being compared to but i'm surprised no one is comparing her to Bjork. They are extremely different musically and also in their personalities but their attitude toward art and fashion and their dedication to performance and music is the same.

Really? I just discovered this interview 2 days ago D: . My favorite its one she made for MTV in 2011 called ''Inside The Outside'' because i was amazed of all the new details she gave for that time about her life. :)
