I remember this playing on loop in the mall back in 1987 during Halloween, they used it for every Halloween commercial too. Bloody Mary was the to-go-outfit for Halloween parties all of a sudden.

I remember the music video for this song caused quite the controversy back in 1989. Burning crosses and Black Jesus. It was so controversial that Pepsi had to cancel their sponsorship with her! She even got banned by the Vatican! It angered many Christians!

My sister Valerie was such a big fan of Gaga. I remember in '85 she went down to tower records and bought the LP this was on, then later that week she dyed her hair bright orange just like Gaga! my mom was pissed but we didn't care.
