It’s now 2016 and major changes are on the cards. With their new partner SPV behind them the band’s first concept album is about to be released under the title Hope Is Here. “We’ve never done a concept before and it was quite a challenge, but once Rob started writing the story and got totally buried in it, there was simply no going back,” explains guitarist Oliver Nikolas. “When you’ve got a concept you have to arrange it like a film, you have to follow certain moods and really think about where to put the faster, harder pieces and where the slower and sadder moments best fit in,” continues the band’s founder. “We’ve never worked together so hard and so well as a unit,” explains Oliver. In the past we’ve worked separately on the songwriting, practicing in short stints in the rehearsal room. On Hope Is Here they worked intermittently for three months perfecting the pre-production at the Engine Studios, allowing the material to take shape - letting their visions develop and grow. “One of the challenges we set ourselves was that every single note should hit the listener as hard as possible, inescapable,” Oliver Nikolas explains. “We feel we’ve finally reached the next level.”
Indeed: with Hope Is Here the guys drag you out of your comfortable world, deep into a forest - to a boy who lives there. Alienated at home for years. The dangers, the emotions, the sudden twists. Feel his freedom. Taste his dirt in the deep dark woods that our parents warned us from in all those good night stories. Enjoy the trip!

Una vez más me ha sorprendido el nuevo disco de Lacrimas, me ajusté a su cambio de sonido teniendo en cuenta que la escencia Gótica de sus temas o más bien, la carga emocional que le imprimen a los riffs, la suavidad de algunos temas también la agresividad la han mantenido. This is the first time I've felt a sense of uplifting from LP. I've been with you guys since Filthy Notes for Frozen Hearts, and you've never let me down. I love this. Thank you for killing it over the years. This evolution, and that's what it is, is huge. LP has a sound, and this song is redefining what that sound is.
I love both Christopher and Rob. Each one has his own way to give emotional burden to the songs. ❤️

Its amazing how you can still hear the major Oliver guitar sound, even though the band keeps changing but still remaining Lacrimas Profundere

For years I enjoyed your music but I've never been a fan of your band. I liked it a lot but it wasn't just the right thing. But the new album is THE THING. This is what I was waiting for :D I'm in love now ❤️.

joder, después de ser un fan absoluto de la banda y este lp no haberme entrado a la primera, he de reconocer que tras 4 o 5 escuchas más, el sonido maduro y relajado ha terminado de convencerme. no tiene la fuerza de otros lanzamientos, pero son lacrimas en estado puro, y se lo perdono. deseando disfrutarles en directo. que nadie me los cambie nunca.
It had to be a Star Warz pajama XD. Anyways,the song really is powerful. It's like stepping into the past and then present and then future. But such a strange world. Whoever directed this is a genius. Perfect quality.

GoAnimation you know that the voice changes, but the one who writes the song is Oliver right? There is no old or new, they slowly and slightly change through every album, like every band who has had the same composer since they began

Well Oliver is the only member remaining from that era. So they're kind of a different band now.

Creo que es un sonido más maduro, me recuerda a Anathema, aunque igual extraño un poco el sonido más "Gotico" de los teclados, pero me parece aceptable como single, debo escuchar el álbum aún :). I think it's a more mature sound, reminds me of Anathema, but I miss sound of keyboard just a little more "Gothic", but it seems acceptable as a single, I no listen to the album yet :). PD: Mi ingles es una mierda xd

Me sorprendió gratamente por eso mismo, los 2 últimos álbumes me gustaron pero se me hicieron muy parecidos entre si, este single suena diferente, como dices, aun queda escuchar el álbum entero.

I've been a fan of this band since Filthy Notes, but this was definitely a more mature and unique sound as a band. Sad to see them go back to their roots, I held onto the hope that at least they would do so well, but Bleeding The Stars just sounds extremely generic to me. I will seriously miss Rob's era and Hope is Here.
I loved the song but come on men, I miss the old LP, the gothics songs, the deathgrowls, Rob has a wonderfull voice, but really I'd like to listen some screams...

Henrique Ribeiro Não mesmo, mas até o FIlthy notes ainda estava bom. Por mais que tenha mudado do doom original. Mas o Vitacca mudou o estilo do vocal que sempre caracterizou o Lacrimas... E ajustaram o som pra casar com o timbre dele. É outra banda...
