Love the Engine Whine!!! I miss these buses entirely!
It Reminds Me Of The Second Batch Of NYC Transits Of The Early 1980's. Excellent Sound.
I miss these!
I like that whine sounds
Same seat configuration of San Juan AMA Units
# 1310 was the only bus repowered with the DD50. I rode that bus on the 4 one day...terrible on takeoff. So LACMTA rebuilt the engines on all of them and ran them until 08/09
me too. I fell in love with this particular one. Its got major personality.
@TTC2017 - Sounds and feels a lot like a new MCI Classic to me.
I miss that bus
i like the way this one sounds
I miss the Manchester bus route 115 and Vernon bus 105
Oh yeah!!!!
it sifts good
# 1422 had a Cummins M11 diesel engine. # 1273 was converted to CNG ... only to be converted back to diesel. Im not sure what engine it had in it.
This also sounded like SMART's TMC's they had in Detroit area.
