The nationwide search for the next superstar kicked off in August as the Idol Bus traveled covering 23 cities across the country. Auditioning was made easier than ever as hopefuls also had the opportunity to submit audition videos online as well as via select social media platforms using an official tag The Next Idol cultivating over 300,000 posts. Also for the first time in “American Idol” history hopefuls had the opportunity to audition through a livestream platform.
Helping to determine who America will ultimately vote for to become the next singing sensation are music industry forces and superstar judges Luke Bryan Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. Host and producer Ryan Seacrest will return as host of the beloved series.

Laci got to perform with two of the most handsome & talented stars in country music. Luke Bryan & Brett Young (two of my favorites) and sounded incredible! I love her voice so much! I still love to go back & watch them again & again!
Unfortunatly i dont belive this was the best song for her voice how ever luke nailed it

If you watch whole season you can tell how much he was starting to love her lol like the faces he would make when watching her were crazy! I said it the whole season, when they came out and performed this song together I shit! LB planned that song 😂😭

I'm no fan of country but I must admit Luke has grew on me... Maybe it's because how much he loves Alejandro lol.....and how genuine and humble he is...no, really he has a good voice too... BTW..If Alejandro didn't exist I would have rooted for Laci, her voice is so gorgeous, makes country more likeble for us not fans.... Can't wait to listen to her songs... I know she'll get signed.. she's great... :)
