Ryan, not only do I think you brought a new perspective of entertainment to these athletes with this edit ( it reminds me of ufc hype) but I also think that arm wrestling is the new sport of the future because it has no brain damage issues like boxing and football ect!!....

Fantastic staging for this tournament , quite a stark comparison to many of the matches arranged in the U.S. American promoters really need to up their game as frankly some of the events are downright embarrassing .

maybe some of that toddzilla-style static pronation work did its magic. Lachlan lost so many times because he got turned palm up, if he can keep his pronation intact, I think his hook will be a great weapon! still, maateiwarangi managed to bust open his hand with a not at all refined kingsmove, so he still has a lot of work to do if he wants to go all the way to the top

Great match just what the beast needed a wake-up call. Rekindle the fire. He needs tough competition to push him. it shows where you are. No one wants to lose not go or 10k but you learn more by losing than winning comfortably. The harder opponents the better.

That was really good, Ryan! I think Morris took Lachlan's wrist/hand both times but just couldn't get the win.

He doesn't really have any competition in Australia, he's number one by a huge margin (Maatei is from NZ) so I think he got complacent. I expect Todd's domination made him realise what it's going to take to compete with the global elite and given him a target to chase.

@Levan Vaginashvili I think this is his first time out since covid. And he only found 1 guy that could beat him...he has faced Levan before in a tournament. He looks young still..I’m not sure of his age. Definitely a ex power lifter and still improving in arm wrestling..

@Levan Vaginashvili he's been delayed like 2 years in his progress tbf. Last time he won 4-0 or something against Lachlan and then he never pulled again whereas Lachlan just kept pulling and competing so he's gonna have the edge atm

Lachlan’s loss to todzilla is the best thing that has happend to him. Lachlan adopted some training insights from Todd which has made him level up quite a lot in a rather brief period of time. Well done Lachlan, can’t wait what the future will bring!

Probably hasn’t leveled up a ton since then. It’s really just about time spent training, Lachlan’s got a good plan, probably did adopt a little extra. But his trajectory isn’t going to sky rocket randomly. It’s a slow grind to the top, slow & steady.
