Isabelle You get a high ponytail WITH bumps because your hair is VERY VERY thick. That happens with me also. Straighten your hair and it will be much better :)

S.S.beauty21 It's okay, Beauty, I know you love your mom & I know how it feels to want her to be able to do something like this on your hair. Believe me, I've been trying & trying to teach my mom all the things about hair (I have been practicing with hair for over 2 years) but she just can't get it. Now, does this mean I don't love her? Does this mean I don't appreciate her & what she has done for me & other people? No! You weren't saying "I hate my mom" or "She's so dumb" or ANYTHING like that, so just ignore all of those mean people!

I did this in my hair yesterday and I got a ton of compliments, even from my sub math teacher ( prob in her 20s ). I'm not at all trying to contradict either of you. However, i do this bun almost everyday for ballet just as shown in this video. And my skin gets a little red just because its tight. It only does that as a reaction to how high your hair is put. Once your done with the hairstyle you can loosen it a bit to release some strain it has on some areas it has on your head. ex: behind your ears. Hope this cleared it up somewhat. It doesn't necessarily mean she's pulling her hair roughly. Although, it can be a possibility.
