What? Why not? My dog eats most anything I do. Some things aren't safe, but my dog loves mandarins! Not hot on green beans, though.

I just love these dogs! Chief has always been my fav. But I laughed so hard especially at Nike. He kept going for the bowls & the actual whole fruit. Bear would have rathered played fetch with the fruit. Daisy hardly chewed, just swallowed.... what a smart gal! Can hardly wait til the pups are able to try fruit. Garrett you have a fun gig there! Thank you 🐾💕

Comissar Cronkski my lab ate a label off a soup can, if I hadn’t come home at lunch he’d have bled to death, they didn’t think he’d make it through the night, but he lived many more years, he was a lab! Tough dogs

Let me start by saying I liked watching your dog try new fruits. One FYI for people wanting to give their dogs citrus though. While citrus isn't toxic to dogs, the sugars and acid can cause stomach upset and bloating. Also, some dogs have skin issues when exposed to too much Vitamin C. I have a cairn terrier who likes citrus but it doesn't like him. He gets terrible skin itchiness from it. We mentioned it to his vet thinking it might be a food alergy. But she let us know that some dogs, not all, don't process citrus well. Her recomendation was if it bothers them don't give it to them. If it doesn't seem to bother them you should still limit how much your dog eats.

I know someone whose 1yr old Maltese DIED from eating just half a grapefruit. People really shouldn't encourage their dogs to eat citrus fruit. Seriously.
