    Yes, VAT should be no more than 15% and corporation tax should have remained at 19%. Even the business I work in, despite making relatively modest profits, was taxed at 21%

    Yes Michelle, I have started and run a small business and what I learned very quickly was "one employee one head ache, ten employees 10 headaches". I now run my own business with no employees and have great fun while making a living !

    I did that as well. Use to employ between 15 to 20 people. Endless headaches. Scaled back my business to were I'm now just working for myself. I put about the same amount in my bank account as before but none of the headaches. Payrolls and taxes just made life miserable.

Peter is right on the historical context, because I saw what Tony Blair did for the working class in the UK. He took what Margaret Thatcher started back in the 80s, and took it to the next level ! I am politically, a social democrat, but I won't be voting Labour! Secondly, this net zero agenda will absolutely impoverish not only working class but the middleclass as well!

    The net zero jobs are not going to the average man in the street. Net zero jobs are for PhD’s in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Engineering etc. UK doesn’t have the core skills to build a net zero future because our kids are all graduating in fashion photography, interior design, and media studies.

    The problem is there are a lot of people who need zero-hour contacts due to other commitments and picking and choosing their own working hours is the only way they can work. If you ban them these people would then be unable to work a full time contact and end up on benefits.

    The businesses are already struggling over taxed far far too much paperwork all these government departments producing unnecessary bureaucracy. Wheres buisness owners rights . Tax should have a limitation that can't be crossed and taxation includes all the additional legislation which is at very least a taxation on your time . Get of peoples back

    Aint no need , well have had ( if we vote rhem in ) tories for nearly 40 years within 51 total , by 2030 , and they have done an absolutely unprecedented stirling job of that ! Face it , labour did more to help the tories than the tories , thats why everyone knows now , we only have a Uniparty !
