It seems silly to us (normal people) but it actually is a terrible crime in their eyes for him to be allowed to speak. The left absolutely hate anybody that is opposed to them. They've always been this way, ever since left-wing ideology exploded onto the world stage a century ago. The Soviet Socialist movements outright executed people who disagreed with them. The German National Socialists (NSDAP, also known as Nazis) put people who disagreed with them in concentration camps or executed them (or killed them through starvation and slave labour). Cuba, Cambodia, China, every other Socialist movement you can think of executed people for disagreeing with them or speaking against them. A part of left-wing ideology is intolerance of speech, to the point that they will literally kill you when they have enough power in a country to do so. This man told the truth. This is abhorrent, Peter I am only 29 years old but I watch you every day, not everyone my age is completely mental and I have a lot of friends who see things for what they are. Thank you for having the bollocks to tell them how it is.

As an American living in Britain and who is also the child of a Cameroonian who loved Britain (and lived under British colonialism), I am embarrassed by these immigrants and self-hating Brits. Britain is a wonderful country and should be celebrated as it is, not conformed to numerous divisive extra-cultural mouths. I very much respect British culture. Love Britain or leave. That love or leave statement applies to any and all countries. I’m thankful for Britain’s bestowing on my country its good laws and for bringing education and shoes to my father’s country, and drawing many of them out of the darkness of superstition. Look at East End of London. That was a very resilient community - genuinely a community - that had been forged through centuries of hardship. The East End cockneys built an indigenous social eco-system that was destroyed at a stroke - as by a wildfire - due to policies of mass immigration The less you have the more you rely on such communities which provided dignity for poorer Londoners. Communal identity binds people to shared values and shared ways of behaviour and it means people can rely on each other if things go wrong. It's not just a matter of bigotry and pride. Shared identity and patriotism is a safety net for poor people. No wonder the likes of Emily Thornberry don't understand.

The destruction of our cultural heritage reminds me of the destruction of monuments in Nimrud in Iraq and the destruction of the monuments in Afghanistan.

Good for you Peter! Freedom of speech? You reflect the opinions of the British People.

I hadn't realised how bad things had got in London. This is shocking. What has happened to Great Britain? Where has our country gone?

How many white English men/women sit in the Indian, Pakistani, African parliaments? I’m more than happy to be educated here,

And here I thought I couldn't love Peter Whittle more... AMAZING MAN.

This was brilliant. It was a spicy statement, but demonstrably correct. Importantly it showed the tribal nature and childishness of these people.

Unfortunately many people voted for Blair, and his immigration policy allowed many to come in under "asylum" and changed an emphasis from integration to multiculturalism. Anyone who voted for Blair must take a degree of responsibility for this, respecting that his immigration policies were not well publicised.

@Catherine Jarman Absolutely correct, Catherine. As an exiled Londoner I find it impossible to get through to most people when I try to warn them about what is really happening to our country following decades of mass-immigration. I get sneered at by some and ignored by most.

This is disgraceful. Shame on the Labour Party. When an English man can not speak.

Well I have to say that the chairman acted in a very professional and considered manner. In so doing, he de-escalated the situation with great skill.
