Karen, my parents would be very sad to see all this too. They lived through WW2. My Dad flew in Lancaster bombers. He told me that he used to go into a kind of 'portaloo' at the end of the runway each evening before take-off and pray that his bombs did not hurt innocent people. Those heroic folks did their bit for our freedom, and eventually halted the holocaust too as a result.

I'm from India, i think i can give you some insights on how we managed to keep islam beyond the fence to an extent. RSS is an organisation formed in 1925. It is a Hindu right wing group and RSS supported BJP is currently ruling the country. What you lack in the UK must be a prominent right wing. If you have an organisation/group of such,it's opinion will be heard and valued. It can be religious and i believe it will be the best medicine for Islamic extremism!

Ada 1 kes yg mana ada non muslim Sabahan buat satire pasal stoking nama allan terus dihumban ke penjara tanpa proses mahkamah yang adil; nama dan semua hal peribadi dia disiarkan di publik. Memang ada pegawai yg handle data malaysian pegi dox dia. Tapi kalau orang islam menghina orang bukan islam dan ada banyak kes orang islam yang merosakkan rumah ibadah orang bukan islam; pelaku yang beragama islam tersebut terus bebas tanpa ditahan polis, dan dicap sebagai orang kurang siuman supaya bebas. 1 kes lagi, kes stoking allan yang disyaki kes fitnah dari seorang muallaf (ustad) untuk jatuhkan kompetisi dia. Kes tu memang hangat smpai 3 kes molotovs dibaling ke kedai tersebut oleh pelaku orang islam tapi pelaku tu tidak ditangkap sebab islam. Reaksi kes stoking dengan kes liwat budak oleh seorang ahli UMNO (parti Melayu Islam) (pelakunya lelaki) amatlah berbeza sekali. Kes liwat budak oleh ahli UMNO tu orang islam tak bising macam monyet kelaparan, mereka senyap jer. Nampak tak? Nak sangat islam kat negara korang, pegilah sokong, jangan cakap kami yang pernah lalui ni tak warn kamu orang. Terpaksa taip dlm bahasa malaysia sebab utube pegi sekat kalau taip english.

Very well said. I can understand you had to write in different language. I think people need to understand that we are against political Islam and not Muslims. Unfortunately most Muslims support political Islam. I will make sure I am anti Islam and anti political Islam. Also people should direct their hate towards islamists and not normal Muslims.

The system is broken. Only 20% of voters voted for Labour. I would put money on Reform winning next election. We're going to continue to convince Cons and mid grounders to vote Reform. And 5 years under Labour (if we survive it) will be enough to turn a lot of mids and lefties towards the right. Also the fact that there is a heavy reform love amongst people that will be of voting age next election.
