Ah, John Lansman. He surfaced again with Momentum. He failed in the 80’s and he lost in 2019. Ditch these extremists!

Always been a bit of a swing voter, but I have always done well under labour had more money in my pocket, always seems to be a lot of hate around when conservatives are in.

Tony Benn is actually a good, principled and clever man. Unfortunately though for him he was on the wrong side; the demented Labour Party.

Tony Benn has one of the most destructive legacies of any British politician. Apart from his lunatic economics, his support for Brexit, his support for referendums, and his desire for what he called 'internal party democracy' (i.e. giving the power to choose a Prime Minister to a unrepresentative, democratically unaccountable group of party members) have been catastrophic. His legacy if anything is just as visible in the Tory Party as the Labour Party. His changes gave us Jeremy Corbyn, and also Liz Truss and Boris Johnson.
