    Yes his dad had a business on an industrial estate called Oxted Tool Company from at least 1983 (entry in BT phone book for Oxted) through to the 1990's as per the text of "Red Knight" by which time the business had moved to a 1500 sq.ft.unit in Edenbridge just south of Oxted.... Keir is a liar by omission on that subject....

    Only 6% of children attend private schools yet this question is asked time and again by the media, disproportionately so. I’d be interested to know if the presenters or the editors privately educate their kids. Polling suggests only 18% of voters object, 57% approve. This is a vote winner

    @@beasmith1 a) most of these pledges were likely to have saved money in the long run if you see them as investments in the population b) The economy was already in a bad way when he made them - claiming that Truss has made these policies suddenly unviable is nonsense c) some of these pledges *raise* money or are free (free movement of people, higher taxes on top earners) so he can't even use the "there's no more money" argument in that regard. Keep trying to defend him, maybe you'll make sense one day 😉

    There's absolutely nothing wrong with this bloke. He's not far left, he's not far right, he's extremely sensible. nd at the moment, he's got so little to work with if they win. I have a feeling not a lot will change anytime soon, but at least we stop the Tories pocketing tax payers money. Inverstigations into where money went during the pandemic would be good, but can't see it happening.
