I'm here after watching Cracow Monsters s1e2 on Ntflx where this was sung near the end of the episode. I like not knowing the meaning; makes all the voices into instruments rather than conveyors of meaning. This song sounds like what I hope witches would sing to relax me before they killed and ate me... whatever. I'm sure it's much more wholesome than that. Anyway, I imagine there will be more western interest in this song as more people watch the show. edit: ha! I looked at the English translation after I wrote the above, and it is about witches!

Yes! Unable to understand what the words mean, I'm able to immerse myself in the sonically pleasing melody. Was listening to Eivor's English version if the Slor album and it was great, but just didn't give the same feel as the Icelandic version

Wow! Despite the difference between me and them, I felt a spiritual connection, as we all face social distancing, and the music is so breathtakingly beautiful!
