Nationals Leader David Littleproud says the Labor government putting all its “energy eggs” into one basket means Australians will need to pay a significant amount.
“We had a technology-agnostic approach around what our emissions should be and our energy sector should be,” he told Sky News Australia.
“We didn’t have an all-renewables approach but we wanted to spread that risk because if you don’t you have concentration risk.”
