Lab Tour : Short visit to the Lithium Lab (with Sarah Hirthe)
Ғылым және технология
Sarah Hirthe is a PhD candidate in the group of Prof Immanuel Bloch at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics. Their group's goal is to understand the interactions in quantum many-body systems and exploit them for quantum information and simulation purposes, which presents one of the most challenging endeavours in entire quantum physics today. Follow Sarah through her lab, where she and her colleagues investigate special quantum phenomena using ultracold atomic and molecular quantum gases.

This reminds me my research when I was a master student. We needed to turn lights off when working with lasers, I could see that you found a way to keep the lights on.
Very well explained
That was fantastic..
This video is better for people who really already understand what's going on, (not laymen like me.) I'm GUESSING that at least one of the lasers (she mentions "moving" the atoms, no?) Is used to cool the atoms down to as close to 0 K as possible. Once the atoms are cold (still) enough, they can be "captured" and imaged. I have no clue how atoms can be imaged, though.
Ich fande das video war großartig. Saludos desde Mexico
Eine feine, geile Lasershow👍👍😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉😁☀️☀️☀️✨✨
how long does it take to build such complicated optical tables?

Maybe six to seven years.
Wow, 40W
THE NEW MOON APPEARED (THE VERY NEW MOON) SOME HALF AN HOUR AGO, MAYBE A LITTLE MORE, ON ( FROM ) THE LEFT SIDE OF OUR FAMILY HOUSE KURIĆ, ACROSS THE ROAD FROM OUR HOUSE, ON ( FROM ) THE LEFT SIDE NEAR THE PLACE IN THE SKY WHERE THE SUN APPEARS EVERY MORNING AT ABOUT 9 AM, ABOVE HILLS, ACROSS THE ROAD FROM OUR HOUSE ! 23.08.2022.
