I took the output of the function generator indirectly using a breadboard, jumper wires and oscilloscope probes, it showed an 'almost' sinusoidal waveform but absurd readings (400 mV pk-pk instead of 5 V pk-pk). Why did that happen ?

The signals look pretty. But not much use if I don't know how to use it on a pcb.

Connect trigger and sync, how and how to configure scope and function generator for this?

Could you please make a video on how the fg can be connected to the scope? Trigger, sync, etc. And application of this?

Is the output AC or DC ? ..or both ?

my signal/ function generator provide constant output voltage for all frequency range when analyzed through oscilloscope, its fine, but when i connect a load across signal generator its output voltage drop significantly why?

well is this sinus signal is real AC signal? I will use it at rectifier circuit. Can I see negative voltage +- 5 Volt
