He is by far the best trumpet player in history in terms of technique, tone and musicality. Marsalis will also fall down if Mendez is in front of him. It is fortunate for all modern trumpet players to be able to watch the video he plays on the Internet.
Fantastic!!!
Excepcional

Y DIOS CREO UN FUERA DE SERIE. !
Outstanding...... is there a trumpet player in 2020 that is equal to Mendez?

Truly virtuostic!!!

Compositores Bernardo Bautista Monterde y Antonio Ortiz Calero.

👏👏👏
I came looking for this song not because of some stupid phone commercial, but because this song has been Don Rickles' theme song for over 50 years.

It was the theme song of Rafael Mendez long before Rickles started using it.
Written by the Spanish composer Bernardino Bautista Monterde (1880-1959).
👏👏👏👏💃💃💃💃
Nice cool
RIP Don Rickles

Phil Burns Rickles used it as his theme song.
Dicendo bravissimo ho detto tutto.
The titel is not correct : the Spanish composers of this piece are Bernardino Bautista Monterde and Antonio Ortíz Calero.

Waiting for don rickles to come out
I would love to hear a guitarist interpret this song as expertly as was done by Mendez on the trumpet. Sabicas came close. Maybe Paco could have done it.
Every latin movie ending credits has this trumpet
Not bad for an asthmatic.
