I think it depends on what harp you played before, what songs you like to play and your budget. I've only had my hands on a few harps, so keep that in mind... The harpsicle has a good range (love that bass C), but because it is designed to be a budget-friendly harp there are some factors that might not suit an experienced harpist who knows what qualities they like in a harp (string tension, spacing, tone, lever choice, etc.). I like the spacing and tension on the Derwent Discovery 16s. I love high notes in general, so I'm ok with the bright, crisp tone. They just recently started offering a Discovery 21, too. (It's on my wish list!) I'm not sure yet if they do any levers on this size. They are also easier to store, since they stand on their own. If I had to pick a small harp to play for 2-4 years, I'd also look into the Salvi Juno 27 (bass C), the Dusty Strings Ravenna 26 (bass C), and the Marini bass lap harp (F below bass C). I don't think I could go a year without levers. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
