Okay, the original La Vie En Rose is by a French woman named Edith Piaf. Extremely old song, but beautiful. Do yourselves a favor and listen to her sing, it'll give you goosebumps.

Some version (in the key of G)uses even more complex cords like Edim(Bbdim) , Cm6 and even D7#5& D7b5...from ukulele underground. They are likely the voicing or melodic chords.

This guy is the best. He puts together the easiest to learn combination of chords and strums but it is not so minimal as to be bland or generic. I recommend him to everyone I know who is learning ukulele.

+Paco Tavara you probably already found out but if not its tuned in g,c,e,a and if you have an android there is an app in the playstore called "ukulele tuner" and it's blue with a white ukulele on the front....it works pretty well for tuning.😊

I played my first cord today and I already know 3 songs from youre videos!! I love this song so much and you’ve helped me so much I’d definitely recommend this to anyone!

I can remember going to a music class in the education field at Ohio State. We got to play ukelele together as a class, and learn simple songs like these. Diversity can bring us all closer together as a globe.

This is brilliant! By far the easiest chords of the Cristin Milioti/HIMYM version I have found. You are also a great teacher. Could you do 'Moon River' by Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's? And 'All Of Me' by John Legend? Thank you for sharing your talent :)

I know you must get TONS of comments like these, but you just taught me my very first ukulele song! I only bought my ukulele the other day, its a Cordoba Concert ukulele, and since I come from a very musical family I was so excited when I first got it! Now that I can actually accomplish something with an instrument, it feels like there's a huge weight off my shoulders. Thanks for your help!
