Een coming-of-age drama gebaseerd op de graphic novel van Julie Maroh. De 15-jarige Adèle is zeker van twee dingen: ze is een meisje en meisjes gaan uit met jongens. Maar wanneer ze Emma ontmoet, een jonge vrouw met blauw haar, wordt haar hele leven op z'n kop gezet. Emma geeft Adèle de kans om haar verlangens te ontdekken, om zich te laten gelden als vrouw en als volwassene. Een ontroerende film over het geluk en verdriet van een eerste grote liefde, en alles wat daar bij hoort.

The perfect scene
This scene gets me every time ... Perfect movie. Watching it for the third time tonight 🥀
I don’t know that instrument he’s playing, but for me it represents their relationship. Two longs shots are of Adele walking away as that instrument plays, one at the beginning and one at the end. The first one plays before the man playing it is shown to make it seem like the music is “entering”. And at the end, Adele feels unloved and unwanted by Emma, so as she walks away the same music sounds like it is “leaving” just as we are leaving the film.

Anyone knows where to get that track played on the hang? Although it's much more intense while having such pictures passing by, its such a nice tune to think about the movie.
