Υπό την καθοδήγηση του Βαγγέλη Μπουντούνη 200 κιθαριστές με σολίστ την Μάρω Ραζή διασκεύασαν με κύριο μουσικό όργανο την κιθάρα μουσικές από κινηματογραφικά θέματα (Nino Rota, Maurice Jarre, Yann Tiersen) ,παραδοσιακή μουσική(Ελλάδα ,Ισπανία ,Μεξικό, Ιρλανδία) αλλά και Μάνο Χατζιδάκι .
Η συναυλία πραγματοποιήθηκε στο Μέγαρο Μουσικής Αθηνών στις 7 Μαρτίου 2015 στο πλαίσιο του εορτασμού των 20 χρόνων κοινωνικής προσφοράς της «Μέριμνας».
Eδώ οι κιθαριστές διασκευάζουν την μουσική του Yann Tiersen που έγραψε για την ταινία " Amelie "

This video randomly came into my youtube feed. Since then I have listened to all versions of this song available on the earth. This piece of music gives me such a nice feeling. Thanks to composer for this :)

Just in case you don’t know ... this is music by Yann Tiersen from the French film “Amelie”. The score is beautiful, as is the movie. One of my favorites of all time. If you haven’t seen the film, I HIGHLY suggest it. It will change your life, guaranteed.

I totally agree with u, I am obsessed with all of Yann’s music, I ve heard all the version that are produced, but this one has a special taste you cannot find in any other place ♥️

If you haven’t watched the film that this song is from, I highly suggest it. Called “Amelie”, it’s French and probably the most beautiful film I’ve ever seen. It changed my life.

Ah, but that would detract from the power of this particular ensemble. Actually, I thought it was wonderful and topped by a beautiful soaring solo violin as counterpoint.
