Well she isn't the best singer I agree. But the same goes for alot of these woman from that era just to name a few ( Madonna, Vanity, Cyndi Lauper and even Janet). But somehow they got away with it. The difference is that Latoya was basically living in the shadow of her brothers (the Jacksons 5, Janet and Mike). And let's not forget that the fame status MJ had was enormous...and another sister( Janet) who breaking barriers. So in conclusion people will always compare you with ( in Toya's case ) brother and sister. I bet that if Madonna was MJ's sister she would have never reached fame status neither.

You damn right she wasn't happy at all!! You could really see it and hear it In my opinion she was forced by that terrible man Jack Gordon & he basically f****d most of her life and career up and made her tell all of those lies about Michael and the family. Also in my opinion she did this because she was scared of that man and she did it to protect not only her but her family as well especially the 2 most successful Jacksons Michael and Janet even though it was a f***ed up way of doing it etc. I believe she had no other choice but to survive the best way she knew how... Shes said it herself. In reality Latoya was honestly talented and could sing with her distinctive voice & can dance etc, her best came out with certain producers and production especially it was evident through her first few early albums before the late 80s came in good etc. This chick could've been just as huge as Janet and Michael had she not married that Jack Gordon. Somebody like Prince etc should've came to her rescue before that demon Jack even thought about it!! I still can't believe she even met that man and how did that come about etc, Another opinion I think he basically held her at will way beyond her control because he knew she wasn't strong enough and that he could manipulate her due to the fact she was also a quiet shy woman whom hadn't really lived life outside of the family during that time etc. I'm quite sure he's paying for it because God doesn't like ugly etc.

@@lawilli80ss You win the lottery. Everything you said was true to facts. He did make threats towards Michael and Janet if she didn,t do or say what he wanted her to lie about. She did things that I,ve noticed in her own way crying out to her family for their help. During her televised interviews I noticed how she answered the questions in ways that only her family would know she was in trouble. I never believed she was a bad person as the public made her out to be cause if I was in her shoes, I would have behaved the same way. She,s not smiling throughout the performance and that alone was a dead give away at least to me. She was not a happy camper and I could see it in her eyes.

When you have to tell the audience to get engaged it’s pretty bad. Even the backup dancers were dry. 😩😩😩

She looks amazing .maybe with more choreography and diffrrent backup singers.

She had the talent of Marlon and Jackie. If Joe had been on his game...he'd have taken the girls and created a trio with Rebe ..Latoya and Janet singing lead. Janet could definitely handled lead and both Rebe and Latoya have enough talent background to work the background

@@davidgerald133 The sisters already tried being a trio but for unknown reasons it never worked out. Rebbie was the best vocalist out of the three sisters but Janet had the sass and the attitude. LaToya's voice was beautiful but Pop was never her strong suit
