It's not just the chord progression. The strum pattern and guitar sound is similar too. Also the bass is also accentuated just like in the Daft Punk song.

Matt Hammond The "clean"-ish guitar sound, the "mute'n'strums", the "high" chords, the overall rhythm and accentuation used in both this and daft punk is very common in funk music, I'm not defending La Roux, to be honest, I prefer Daft Punk, but just because it has a similar chord progression (and there are differences in accents, rhythms, chord voicings) it doesn't mean La Roux stole from Daft Punk. It's just a simple chord progression with common funk strumming pattern.

So happy with her comeback! I'm a fan of La Roux since 2009, i loved their first album, now i need to say that their second one is a MASTERPIECE

Only 7 days till the release of Trouble in Paradise. It's about time too, 5 years is too long a wait. I love the mellower, mature sound of what I've listened to so far and I expect the rest to exceed my expectations.

HQBacon Get Lucky took 18 months to record and compose. They recorded it during the final year(s) of producing RAM, La Roux wrote all the songs on Trouble In Paradise in the 2009 and 2010 and the begininng of 2011. I've followed both bands for quite some time now. My point is that La Rouxs and Dafts labels share no affiliation with eachother.

I might only have heard about La Roux little over a year ago, but I was a fan from the first song I heard!
