Just dump a shit-ton of ice into the volcano to cool the lava and prevent an eruption, then we can bring the funicular back.
Why not to build new funicular, eh? Just to waste few billion euro for what? For next eruption which will certain be big considering mount Vesuvius slept way too long to be small to bury funicular under ashes? "Horse" does it job just fine (I mean bus which carries tourists up). I don't see any need of building heavy installation considering it's living volcano which can wake up at any given time rests nearby. Anyways I liked the song.

@@nottelling8129 we can add few tons of confetti, so new eruption will be a big fiesta.
