We've seen and heard a lot about the very fast LA-Racing Honda CRX and we had to make plans to meet with the owner, Lyle Afrika to find out more about what he does and if he plans to enter our fastest 4 cylinder streetcar in the country event 👀
Lyle does plan on entering and discusses his plans for the event and also tells us all about his journey that lead him up to the start of LA-Racing. It's an interesting story with many throwbacks so be sure to watch it all! 😁

It was crazy! Sacks circle and guys even used to race on 35th street back in the day just over the bridge after pick n pay in Parow and towards the airport side, and then also down modderdam road near the airport side. Good times

Coastal air in CPT makes VVLs, Vtecs and VVTis feel turbo charged.So these vehicles are treated as gems in CPT and subsequently have huge followers and enthusiasts. Away from the coast these vehicles lose lots of power and the turbo boys who are more consistent in varying conditions would show dominance. The NA however with less components are far more reliable. Its like a small war going on and nobody has an upper hand.
I'm from the cape n I know Lyle will be in the top if not number 1. His passion for the sport shows it... You killed it with a stock block n made 10s bro. Built motor making 8s is the aim now... Cpt backs you lyle

Does it really matter if someone is late to the party or not? The point is that he got where he is, working with what he has and building up over time and he is proud of what he has built up and learnt over the years during his journey. At the end of the day its still an amazing achievement and one to be very proud of even if others (like yourself) don't feel the same way.
