Pope Francis has already written to Father Edassery that his Holiness has carefully followed events in the Archeparchy, continues to encourage an open and sincere dialogue aimed at fostering peace and ecclesial communion within the local church and the Syro-Malabar Church as a whole. There's no need for Paulachan to tell the pope that the Syro-Malabar church is undergoing a serious crisis . Vatican is aware of the 'udayippu' of the Synod and the Hierarchy!!

Dear pope, more than 500000 laities and 400 priests are begging for a rubric which was started in the whole of Syro Malabar church in accordance with the renewal in the global church. We are proud to be called ROMAN CATHOLIC. In our school certificates it is our caste. Now if you punish us for our loyalty towards papacy, it will be a great loss for papacy and our diocese. We believe our ancestors accepted Jesus through St. Thomas, the apostle. But we were ruled by Syrian and Latin bishops in the passage of time. Both cultures had nourished our belief. Now we are children of indipendent India or Bharath. Ernakulam Angamaly want to be a part of beginning a new Indian rite which can harmonize with Indian culture. It would be a great start. And it will end all turmoils in the church. How many bishops failed? Because Jesus' kingdom can not be established through the power of this world. Let His kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

Dear Holy Father, We do not want a new rite. It is only about 350 rebel priests and about sixty thousand rebel laity who want a separate rite. They are not motivated by faith but merely by temporal inclinations. It is widely believed that many of these priests and the rebel nuns are engaged in homosexuality and other sexual immoralities. The laity leader named Shyju Antony is often seen in a news channel owned by Muslims participating in discussions. We suspect that many of these rebels are financially supported by Islamists. Most of the rebel priests are living a luxurious life and own properties. This is beyond their known source of income. The same is the case for the rebel lay leaders. Various government agencies like the Income Tax Department, Enforcement Directorate etc. are keeping a constant watch on these people for illegal and anti-national activities. Dear Holy Father, please do not allow a new rite for these people.
