Maybe, but the low speed flow makes it sadder, in purpose, then in adequation for the moment it was played... I prefer the most falmboying interpretation, faster in rythm and higher in sound.

Some would say that France and Korea don't share the same weight and responsibility in the affairs of the World, but I would answer that (South) Korea is the perfect example of what must be done in term of diplomacy when you're near a foolish dictature with nukes next to you. It asks more courage to live there than in France, for sure.

My sister and her family live in Nice and could have been killed. They were fortunately at the other end of the Promenade des Anglais, when it happens. Thanks to our English friends. Gio Q I like the Inno written by Paisiello for Il Regno delle Due Sicilia! ‘God Save the King/Queen’ is iconic as well, but in a very different way because it’s not a revolutionary song. Actually, most anthems are iconic to people from their own countries!

@@Englishman-_-Mongolia2022 that is awful, and I lost family members then too. However that wasn’t the fault of the French and it was absolutely the right thing for our country to give everything we had to help win that war. Our own generals deserve more criticism for their tactical ineptitude (at times) in that war. Let’s just hope we don’t need to do anything like that ever again. If we do though, we should and must be there.
