Another La Liga season is ahead of us. We already know all the results and who will play in the Spanish elite in the coming season. It is therefore time to revisit the stadiums of the best football league on the Iberian Peninsula. In front of you is an updated top twenty of La Liga arenas. However, our list will take a different form from last year's. We like La Liga venues so much that we have decided to arrange an editorial vote for our favourite stadium.
Spain has beautiful stadiums featuring some of the most famous football clubs in the world. Who doesn't know Real Madrid and its magnificent Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, or FC Barcelona, which usually plays at the monumental Camp Nou? This season, however, Robert Lewandowski and co. will be playing at a different venue. Which one? You can find out in our video. In addition to the clubs competing against each other in the famous El Clásico, Spain has many more stadium wonders to offer. You will find them all in our latest material. Absolutely agree with the first place
Cadiz, Villallreal and the Mastella in Valencia are my favorites. Alltogether i like the stadiums in Spain, they all look different from eachother. Not like the stadium`s in England or Germany, that seems almost all of them look the same.

@@KasparTheFriendlyGOATThe new american football stadiums are architecture marvels. Mercedes benz stadium, sofi stadium , us bank stadium, at&t all look amazing and unique. Much better than England stadiums.
As an Athletic Club bazkide/socio I´m glad to see San Mames Barria on the top but I disagree whatching Mendizorrotza as the last one. It is to me one of the nicest stadiums in la Liga, old english style, covered, it should be much higher in my opinion. I don't like either the stadiums that are in the middle of nowhere, instead of being located in the urban fabric of the citites. But, of course, it is always a matter of tastes.

San Mamés, The Cathedral of football ❤
Balaídos=29.000 capacity and Mestalla 52.000 but conditioned for 49.000. Mestalla is the oldest stadium in the League and the second in Spain. The first is El Molinón del Sporting de Gijón

Spain did a great job making small stadiums (sub 30k capacity) look much bigger than they are.
De momento el del Athletic Club es el más bonito
I like Rayo's arena, it's a bit different and the houses in the background. However, I think Almeria's arena should be last.

I'm actually surprised that the biggest stadium in Slovakia has higher capacity (22.500) than the third of these stadiums... I was really expecting La Liga stadiums to be bigger

The San Mames stadium in Bilbao is absolutely impressive and its fans are even more impressive... At least once a year I travel to Bilbao to see a match of the so called "lions".

Serie A should take notes of how La Liga has modernized it's stadiums. I'm a Juve fan and I know we have a fairly new stadium but if the rest of Series A doesn't want to build new stadiums because of "tradition" or "history", they should just refurbish them and give them a modern facelift.

They have been regular teams in the 90s and 2000s in the league. Some, like Deportivo de La Coruña, had great seasons in Europe, beating Milan, Manchester... Zaragoza has a European title, the 1995 Cup Winners' Cup, and is now the leader of the 2nd division and can be promoted to the first division
