Don't be fooled by appearances. It is a fearsome unit. Today Spain is in democracy, but before, in the Spanish Civil War, it was known for its acts of war, its outrages and massacres, at the hand of the fascist rebel forces. Even today it maintains the name of its founder general, Millán-Astray. A general known for his deeds of war (personal and in command) but also for shouting: "Death to intelligence and long live to the death". Their moto is to Fight and to Die. Their actions are legendary. Today, it could be considered one of the best military units in Spain.

J'ai servi,dans la légion étrangère Française,et j'avoue que jnai découvert,votre legion il y a deux ans,et je me demande d'ou vient cette ,parade,qu'elle en est la signification,j'ai vu des défilés,qui n'avaient rien de militaires, même de dispns tres exotiques,moi je ne critique ni ne compare, j'aimerais savoir nous sommes voisins et j'aime beaucoup l'espagne,respect❤️

WTF is all this about! All this mayhem reminds me of the daily India/Pakistan border closure ceremony. Having served in the South African military for 20 years in the 80's, this is organised chaos. Hope they were not called upon to conduct an operation after a parade like this....they would all be in sickbay, lining up to see the physio.

Défilé bien synchronisé mais ces petits pas et ces petits galops ne sont pas très virils ! En France, de tradition, c'est la Légion étrangère qui a le pas le plus lent et dans les défilés après les autres troupes on percoit que son pas assu6re correspond à son allure martiale que rien ne peut arrêter dans ses mouvements guerriers ! L'Histoire parle pour elle !

J'ai servi,dans la légion étrangère Française,et j'avoue que jnai découvert,votre legion il y a deux ans,et je me demande d'ou vient cette ,parade,qu'elle en est la signification,j'ai vu des défilés,qui n'avaient rien de militaires, même de dispns tres exotiques,moi je ne critique ni ne compare, j'aimerais savoir nous sommes voisins et j'aime beaucoup l'espagne,respect❤️

Si tu entiendes otra cosa, es porque no tienes ni idea de lo que representan los misterios que sacamos a la calle, que no son mas que los distintos pasajes de dicha Pasión. con eso no le hacemos daño a nadie que yo sepa

Défilé bien synchronisé mais ces petits pas et ces petits galops ne sont pas très virils ! En France, de tradition, c'est la Légion étrangère qui a le pas le plus lent et dans les défilés après les autres troupes on percoit que son pas assu6re correspond à son allure martiale que rien ne peut arrêter dans ses mouvements guerriers ! L'Histoire parle pour elle !
