For some reason, this song inspires such a sense of love and the romantic delicacy of one's heart, but in the same time, such vulnerability and fear of pain, it conflicts in me so badly. Idk if I should smile or start to cry inside, it makes me long for something i never had, but remember it being there, and fear something I've never felt, but like I know exactly what it's like...I both love and hate this song

this is weird but something about the color choice for each hand i love. blue on the left for sebastian which fits into his color pallet, as well as bringing a lot of depth and sadness to the relationship. orange for mia, who’s bright and complex and it fits into her color pallet as well. i love this movie and this song so much that i don’t think i could ever tire of listening to it.

Melancholic I believe is the word I would use to describe this song. Like no matter how happy you feel, no matter how great everything seems, something will always be wrong. Nothing is supposed to be as it is, yet is..? Truly a soul crushing emotion.
@Hibernathan05
5 ай бұрын
It so perfectly evokes the feeling of wondering what could have been, being happy in the moment you are, living your dream, but wondering if it could be better. It’s a strange emotion, but one that this piece conveys so well
I want to go back in time so I can hear this for the first time again.I will never forget that.
Its crazy. Around the first time I heard this song I'd just started college. Met a girl. Fell for her. We became so close so fast. Course it didn't last long. One mistake, into 2, always compounding on another. We had so many opportunities to fix things. But always a barrier in place. For me, fear. There's things that needed to be said but never were. We were unhappy for longer than we were happy. But the good memories are irreplaceable. I'll never stop thinking what if.

There is something you guys all have in common, you play this song off KZread but you forget it the next week. I’m not saying it happens to all of you but there is one thing I’ve learnt after years of experience in piano: Learn from the notes. If you learn from the sheet and you study the notes and understand the finger and the pressure of each touch, it will be encrypted in your head. These videos are more of a showcase, what I said is the real nature of piano learning, give it a try, only the people who love piano will get threw it like a boss.

@@haydenhigginbotham6551 Hello Hayden, I think you miss read what I wrote. In my comment, I didn't say it was easier, in fact reading notes is a skill that inquires many years and I agree with you on that. I've been doing piano for many years and I always recommend students start off by videos, so they can connect with the rhythm and tempo. But learning from the sheet is an art. And yes, its easier to learn from videos, I must say tho, you WILL forget a piece quicker if learnt from the video, and that's not just from me, but from the hundred students who always say that when learning from sheet music It can take decades for it to completely disappear. That's why I recommend people that are really serious about the piano, maybe after a couple years, I highly recommend a teacher. I hope I didn't displease you in my last comment. Hope you have a great day :)
