🌄 La Fortuna, What to do? | Costa Rican 4K
La Fortuna de San Carlos is one of the most sought after and visited places in Costa Rica by tourists from all latitudes, and in this video we show the eight activities you can do while in this incredible place.
1. The first is to walk through the town of La Fortuna, where most of the commercial establishments are concentrated, such as supermarkets, restaurants, craft shops, tourism agencies and more... all of this is located around La Fortuna Park and its Church . To get to know the town, most of the visitors arrive at the Park and from there they begin to walk the streets and avenues, finding various attractions to be photographed, as well as learning about the local culture. All this, with an impressive background of the Arenal Volcano. The nightlife is unmissable in this place.
2. La Fortuna Waterfall. You cannot leave without visiting this impressive place! Located just 5 kilometers from La Fortuna, it is a very picturesque road. Although you can swim in the main fall of the waterfall, it can be a bit deep, so we recommend being careful when doing so, as well as wearing non-slip water shoes since the terrain is full of rocks that can be very slippery.
3. Another activity to do in La Fortuna is to visit the Arenal Volcano National Park, this is one of the most incredible places in the area, with the best locations to see the volcano and admire the nature that surrounds it.
4. In La Fortuna you can enjoy its famous hot springs that flow throughout the area thanks to the geothermal activity of the Arenal Volcano. To be able to enjoy them you have two options: visit the waters of the Chollín River, which is free; or, do it in a private area.
5. The fifth option is to visit Lake Arenal, which is located 18 kilometers from La Fortuna. This measures 90 square kilometers and is another of the places you can visit while in La Fortuna, although depending on the number of days you are going to be in the area, you can spend a couple of hours touring the road; but if your next destination is Monteverde, we recommend you leave this route for last, since you will have to go around the lake to do that route.
6. One of the most entertaining activities you can do is get into nature with guided quad tours, there are several agencies that offer this 2-hour tour, which promise to take the adrenaline to the maximum. This activity is very fun.
7. Another activity that can make your heart beat to the extreme is to take a zipline ride in the middle of the forest, observing the imposing mountains, the volcano and magnificent waterfalls, it is an incredible way to see this area from the air.
8. And finally, we recommend you make a mandatory stop at the Río Celeste waterfall, located in the Tenorio Volcano National Park, and then go tubing in the Río Celeste itself.

Y la temporada lluviosa ⛈️ que va de mayo a noviembre. La temporada alta generalmente se asocia con el invierno de europa y norteamérica; sin embargo, La Fortuna recibe turismo constante durante todo el año. Para este vídeo estuvimos en el mes de julio. Hola Javier Armando, es gusto saludarte 😃👍🏼 El recorrido por La Fortuna lo realizamos de forma independiente, por lo que no tuvimos que hacerlo en alguna agencia; sin embargo, en la zona y hoteles te brindan información detallada de tours. Esperamos que disfrutes mucho en La Fortuna ✅💯🎉

Hola Rodrigo, muchas gracias por tu comentario‼️ Nosotros pensamos que sí; sin embargo, el tour en cuatrimoto podría ser peligroso principalmente por los movimientos bruscos del terreno y quizá un niño de 6 años podría resbalar. El tubbing también es otra actividad que no recomendamos para niños 🚸 debido a algunas corrientes fuertes. Las demás actividades pensamos no habría problema. Ya estando en La Fortuna puedes hacer muchas actividades. En el hotel, hostal o Airbnb que te hospedes podrás obtener información de los precios. Algo que no entiendo es porque los turistas extranjeros pagan mas en los centro turisticos que los nacionales.🤦😔 Tan pobres somos? Qué pasa si Los Estados Unidos,Canada y Europa . hicieran lo mismo....?
