Laurent Ballesta et l’équipe d’Andromède Océanologie sont arrivés à Naples pour partir aux îles Éoliennes, un archipel volcanique situé au nord de la Sicile, en Italie. Cette expédition s’oriente vers la géologie, ainsi que le vulcanisme et consiste à réaliser des échantillonnages, des prélèvements et des mesures des paramètres physiques pour les mettre au service d’une équipe de vulcanologues. A bord du trimaran, Laurent et son équipe visitent Stromboli, Panarea et retournent ensuite à Naples pour explorer un trou au fond de la mer !
THE FIRE UNDER THE SEA | EPISODE 1: Naples
Laurent Ballesta, together with Andromède Océanologie’s team, have arrived in Naples to get to the Aeolian Islands, a volcanic archipelago located north of Sicily, Italy. This expedition is oriented towards geology, as well as vulcanism and involves taking samples and measuring physical parameters to serve a team of vulcanologists. On board the trimaran, Laurent and his team visit Stromboli, Panarea and then return to Naples to explore a hole at the bottom of the sea!
