1985 was one year out of high school.. One of my favorite 12" records was this one and still have my copie and collection. Sad that Lisa "Ms Rockberry" Love, passed away in 1986 of a car accident in San Diego. Then "Rude Pardee" would pass away from a scuba diving accident August 31 1998. R.I.P West Coast pioneer and Legends!

Love LA Dream Team.... Did a few shows with them in LA, the Valley (Skating Rink) and in Carson in 1986 before they really blew up. I am born and raised in the Bronx, NY so I come from the true school original birthplace of Hip Hop, so back then, we never gave the LA cats their respect. But I grew to love these cats and not only respect their music, but enjoy it tremendously. It is very sad how things eventually end up, with people passing away and time moving forward in such a way. Among many, many others, like Ice-T, The Glove, DJ Quick, King Tee and even The World Class Wrecking Cru these are just a few of pioneers of LA Hip Hop!

This is a blast from the past for sure. I met them a couple of times being from LA myself. And yes, lol there was beef between East Coast and the West Coast worse back then but instead of killing each other they would have rap battles.
