The dance is unreal, but, as my first look at the Ivory Coast, THE FABRICS are beautiful. From the drummers shirt, the scarf on the dancer, some of the background clothes, the little girls wrap skirt in the very beginning . Wonderful textiles!

It’s absolutely beautiful 😍 the costume is so colourful the dance just leave me speechless, I wondering how long it take to lean to dance like that and how old do they start ! To see this in person would be absolutely awesome! Even the music is something I’ve never heard before thanks for sharing

Did anyone see what I saw on the mask,a serpent on the left side and a bird on the right hand side of the mask, its identical to crones of the pharaohs of Ancient Kemet(Egypt) and Nubia(Ethiopia).

I saw that and the identical yellow and black. Nubia is Sudan not Ethiopia just a correction.

I can't even imagine how much energy and calories you have to burn to maintain the rhythm of that dance as long as they do doing that for 5 minutes alone would burn 5 Lbs of body fat.

Love the children in the beginning. One little guy just staring into the cam then the girl in the back moving as the cam pans. This dance is incredible. It's great that it's done with bare feet. I see a lot of drums but am curious about the high pitched wooden flute type instruments. Great video!

Fantastic Cadence! Rhythm! Drum talking on drum. In Haiti we have similar which of course came over in the minds of the kidnapped and was then expressed by newly formed equips des tanbou. Excellent! Such magnificent concentration!
