God, I used to be obsessed with this anime. Listening to this after years brings back so much nostalgia, it feels like the most comforting, warm hug.

I started playing the violin when I was five. I continued playing until I was eleven, and by that point I had lost focus on why I wanted to play. I would mess up on a piece that I thought should have been easy for me, and I would find myself thinking, "What's the point?" I quit playing, locked that part of me away, and decided not to play again. Just recently, I found this anime, and was stunned. I remembered that like Kahoko, I truly loved the violin. La Corda inspired me to be myself again.

I was thinking about this anime the other day and I remembered how much I love the songs. Especially this one! : )

I'm lucky, my mom is really accepting of how much I love anime. She even watches it with me sometimes! (She loves Naruto almost as much as me.) She says that anime teaches you good life lessons. Like how Naruto teaches you to never give up on your dreams, or how Code Geass teaches you that the world can be changed, all you have to do is become the most hated enemy of the world and then die! Anime is amazing and makes me a better person. I'm glad my mom sees that! You keep watching too! K? ^w^

It's been 12 years but I'll always come back to this anime. It's one of my favorites! I'm still Salty about the route that the Manga went on because it kind of destroyed what I like most about the anime lol. Anyways, Brand New Breeze will always be one of my favorite OSTs. Hi everyone! The first manga, titled Kiniro no Corda / La Corda D'Oro, ended in 2011. You can simply search online and it is practically available on any manga site. Furthermore, there's also an ongoing sequel to it titled Kiniro no Corda Daigakusei-hen, that began in Dec 2017. Also available online, mainly on Mangadex.

lol relax, it's nice you tried getting your family interested in things you like, but don't over do it. Remember that your parents grew up when there were pretty much only childish cartoons for them so see. Most adults relate anime with cartoons and right away think it's for kids. Don't think of them as arrogant, they just have more important things on their minds than to be distinguishing the difference between these forms of entertainment. (old cartoons vs anime).
